I qualified in 1989 and have been a partner since 1990.  I specialise in serious criminal and civil fraud cases.  I have been a duty solicitor in respect to police station and Magistrates Court for over 18 years.  I have vast experience in preparing all types of criminal cases and I am also a crime supervisor for the firm.

 

I am also the head of the personal injury department and have extensive experience in serious personal injury claims for claimants arising out of accidents at work, road traffic accidents and claims against the public authority.  Due to my vast experience I have also trained a number of trainee solicitors in accident cases.  I have recovered damages on behalf of my clients in excess of one million pounds.  I am also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers for more than 8 years.

PROFILE FOR RICHARD DAWSON-GERRARD

Richard trained and worked at DLA for 10 years prior to joining Keoghs where he headed its Dispute Resolution team. Richard joined Stephensons in 2006.

Richard has a wide experience of helping clients resolve significant commercial disputes and has particular expertise in obtaining interim injunctions.
